THE VILLAGE SQUARE PROVIDES AN EDUCATIONAL FORUM ON MATTERS OF LOCAL, STATE, AND NATIONAL IMPORTANCE. WE ARE DEDICATED TO MAINTAINING FACTUAL ACCURACY IN CIVIC AND POLITICAL DEBATE BY GROWING CIVIL DIALOGUE ON DIVISIVE ISSUES, AND RECALLING THE HISTORY AND PRINCIPLES AT THE FOUNDATION OF OUR DEMOCRACY.

Part 3 - Line 4a

VILLAGE SQUARE PUTS ON MULTIPLE PROGRAMS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR TO ENGAGE THE COMMUNITY IN CIVIC DISCUSSION. PROGRAMS INCLUDE: DINNER AT THE SQUARE IS A BIPARTISAN EDUCATIONAL FORUM ON IMPORTANT CIVIC TOPICS. IT SERVES AROUND 300 PEOPLE ON SITE IN ADDITION TO ONLINE, PODCAST, ANDRADIO AUDIENCES. GOD SQUAD- PERIODIC LUNCHES FACILITATED BY RELIGIOUS LEADERS OF DIFFERENT FAITHS AND POLITICAL IDEOLOGIES TO DISCUSS CIVIC ISSUES. ADDITIONAL EVENTS INCLUDE THE LOCAL COLOR/RACE SERIES, WHICH FOCUSES ON TOPICS OF RACE AND CULTURE IN THE COMMUNITY; AND OUR TOWN SERIES, WHICH MORE BROADLY EXAMINES ISSUES AFFECTING THE COMMUNITY AT LARGE.


OTHER PROGRAMMING IS OFFERED AT NO CHARGE TO ABOUT 1,500 CITIZENS ANNUALLY ACROSS THE COUNTRY ON IMPORTANT CIVIC TOPICS. SPEAKERS FROM OPPOSING SIDES OF ISSUES DISCUSS SOLUTIONS IN CIVIL, RESPECTFUL DIALOGUE. VILLAGE SQUARE ALSO SEEKS TO MODEL LOCAL SUCCESS IN COMMUNITIES ACROSS THE COUNTRY, AND OFFERS MANAGEMENT/CONSULTING OPPORTUNITIES TO SPREAD THE REACH OF THE ORGANIZATION.


THE VILLAGE SQUARE RECEIVES PERIODIC GRANTS AND PASS THROUGH FUNDS FOR VARIOUS PURPOSES SUCH AS OFFERING DIGITAL CIVIC PROGRAMMING TO CITIZENS AND OTHER CIVIC PROJECTS AND PROGRAMMING.
