THE PRESBYTERIAN ASSOCIATION OF MUSICIANS EDUCATES, ENRICHES, AND ENGAGES ITS MEMBERSHIP IN HUMANITY'S CHIEF END: TO GLORIFY AND ENJOY GOD FOREVER. OUR MOST SIGNIFICANT ACTIVITIES INCLUDE THREE ANNUAL CONFERENCES AND A MEMBERSHIP TO THE ORGANIZATION.

1. IN 2021, PAM RESUMED HOSTING TWO 1-WEEK IN-PERSON WORSHIP & MUSIC CONFERENCES IN MONTREAT. HOWEVER, DURING THE 2ND WEEK, IT HOSTED ITS FIRST HYBRID CONFERENCE. THE PURPOSE WAS TO OFFER AN ONLINE OPTION TO THOSE MEMBERS STILL NOT COMFORTABLE ATTENDING IN-PERSON EVENTS AND TO MODEL AND PROVIDE BEST PRACTICES TO THOSE CHURCHES OFFERING HYBRID SERVICES. IN 2021, 295 PEOPLE ATTENDED ONLINE AND 917 IN-PERSON OVER THE TWO WEEKS. ALL 1,212 RECEIVED ACCESS TO THE RECORDINGS OF THE ONLINE SERVICES FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE YEAR. WHILE THE 2021 ATTENDANCE NUMBERS WERE ABOUT 85% OF 2019 PRE-COVID ATTENDANCE NUMBERS, PAM FELT LIKE IT ACHIEVED ITS GOAL TO PROVIDE VALUABLE RESOURCES TO ITS MEMBERSHIP TO UTILIZE FOR THE COMING CHURCH YEAR.
MEMBER SERVICES OF THE PRESBYTERIAN ASSOCIATION OF MUSICIANS PROVIDE INFORMATION AND ACTIVITIES DESIGNED AROUNG THE ORGANIZATION'S PRIMARY MISSION TO EDUCATE, ENRICH, AND ENGAGE ITS MEMBERSHIP IN HUMANITY'S CHIEF END: TO GLORIFY AND ENJOY GOD FOREVER.
CALL TO WORSHIP THE CALL TO WORSHIP: LITURGY, MUSIC, PREACHING, AND THE ARTS QUARTERLY JOURNAL IS PUBLISHED BY THE OFFICE OF THEOLOGY AND WORSHIP OFFICE OF THEOLOGY AND WORSHIP OF THE PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH (U.S.A.) AND SERVES AS PAM'S PROFESSIONAL JOURNAL. IT IS PROVIDED TO ALL PAM MEMBERS IN PRINT AND/OR ELECTRONICALLY THROUGH THE MEMBERS ONLY WEBSITE. THE ANNUAL LECTIONARY AIDS ISSUE PROVIDES WORSHIP AND MUSIC RESOURCES BASED ON THE SCRIPTURES OF THE REVISED COMMON LECTIONARY, INCLUDING OPENING SENTENCES, PRAYERS OF THE DAY, HYMN AND SONG SUGGESTIONS, AND ANTHEM SELECTIONS. THREE THEMATIC ISSUES IN EACH VOLUME OF CALL TO WORSHIP INCLUDE REGULAR COLUMNS ON LITURGY, MUSIC, PREACHING, AND THE ARTS; ADDITIONAL LITURGICAL IDEAS AND RESOURCES; BOOK AND MUSIC REVIEWS; AND LITURGICAL ARTWORK.
