THE HUMANE SOCIETY OF PUTNAM COUNTY, INC. (THE SOCIETY) PURPOSE IS TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC AND PROMOTE THE BENEFITS OF SPAYING AND NEUTERING ANIMALS. THE MISSION OF THE SOCIETY IS TO PROVIDE A NON-LETHAL, RESPONSIBLE SOLUTION TO PET OVERPOPULATION IN THE FOURTEEN COUNTIES OF THE UPPER CUMBERLAND REGION. THE SOCIETY PROVIDES AFFORDABLE SPAYING AND NEUTERING SERVICES TO SURROUNDING REGIONS AND SUBSIDIZES SERVICES WITH GRANTS AND DONATIONS FOR THOSE WHO CANNOT AFFORD THE SERVICES PROVIDED. THE SOCIETYS SUPPORT COMES PRIMARILY FROM PROVIDING SPAYING AND NEUTERING SERVICES, GRANTS, AND INDIVIDUAL DONORS CONTRIBUTIONS.
