TREATMENT OF ANIMALS. THE SOCIETY ALSO WORKS TO INCREASE THE NUMBER OF ADOPTIONS FROM THE CITY OF LAGRANGE ANIMAL SHELTER; THEREFORE, DECREASING THE NUMBER OF ANIMALS EUTHANIZED EACH YEAR. THE SOCIETY SUPPLIES THE CITY OF LAGRANGE ANIMAL SHELTER WITH DOG AND CAT FOOD AND PROVIDES FOR EMERGENCY MEDICAL TREATMENT OF INJURED ANIMALS (WHEN POSSIBLE). THROUGH COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT, QUARTERLY NEWSLETTERS, EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS, AND THE WEBSITE, THE SOCITY PROMOTES THE ADOPTION OF HEALTHY ANIMALS, AS WELL AS EDUCATING THE PUBLIC TO LESSEN THE NUMBER OF UNWANTED ANIMALS IN THIS COMMUNITY.
