THROUGH THE EFFORTS OF THE ORGANIZATION, PRIMARY CARE AS WELL AS SPECIALIZED TERTIARY AND QUATERNARY MEDICAL PROVIDERS HAVE BEEN RECRUITED AND RETAINED TO PROVIDE CARE TO THOUSANDS OF INSURED AND UNINSURED GEORGIA AND SOUTH CAROLINA CITIZENS. EXPANSION TO COMMUNITY PRACTICE SITES HAS PROVIDED THE ORGANIZATION'S MEMBERS AND EMPLOYED PHYSICIANS WITH ADDITIONAL VENUES TO CARE FOR PATIENTS AND GENERATE NEW REFERRALS TO THE SUB SPECIALTY EDUCATIONAL AND CLINICAL PROGRAMS OF AUGUSTA UNIVERSITY (AU). DURING THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING JUNE 30, 2021, THE ORGANIZATION'S MEMBERS AND EMPLOYED PHYSICIANS PROVIDED $21.9 MILLION IN MEDICAL CARE TO UNINSURED AND UNDERINSURED CITIZENS OF GEORGIA AND SOUTH CAROLINA.
