SPONSORSHIP OF LOCAL, REGIONAL AND NATIONAL FISHING TOURNAMENTS. THESE TOURNAMENTS PROMOTE THE FLINT RIVER AND LAKE SEMINOLE AND BRING TOURISM DOLLARS INTO OUR COMMUNITY.
RIVER TOWN DAYS IS THE COMMUNITY'S ANNUAL FESTIVAL THAT IS FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC TO ATTEND. THE TWO DAY EVENT FEATURES KIDS' ACTIVATES, REGIONAL ENTERTAINMENT, VENDOR BOOTHS AND KCBS (KANSAS CITY BARBECUE SOCIETY) SANCTIONED BBQ EVENT.
FLINT RIVER FAIR IS HELD ONE WEEK DURING OCTOBER AND FEATURES A CARNIVAL AND NUMEROUS VENDOR BOOTHS SHOWCASING LOCAL BUSINESS AND CIVIC ORGANIZATIONS.
THE CHAMBER HOSTS MONTHLY MEMBERSHIP NETWORKING LUNCHES AS WELL AS MONTHLY SEMINARS TO HELP EDUCATE THE COMMUNITY ON TOPICS SPECIFIC TO LOCAL BUSINESS NEEDS. WE ALSO HOST AN ANNUAL AG APPRECIATION LUNCHEON WHERE WE RECOGNIZE AND THANK LOCAL FARMERS AND FARM FAMILIES.
