SCHOOL SYSTEMS IN THESE COUNTIES PAY A MEMBERSHIP FEE FOR THE CENTER TO PROVIDE TRAINING THROUGHOUT THE SCHOOL SYSTEM. THE CENTER ALSO PARTICIPATES IN TEACHER PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITIES DESIGNATED AS "STATEWIDE" BY THE GYSTC EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR AS WELL AS SOME REGIONAL PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT. ADDITIONAL PROGRAMS ARE PROVIDED TO STUDENTS AT VARIOUS TIMES DURING THE YEAR INCLUDING THE SUMMER BREAK. THESE PROGRAMS INCLUDE S.T.EM. WORKSHOPS, FAMILY SCIENCE NIGHTS, CENTER FILED TRIPS, SATURDAY SCIENCE PROGRAMS AND S.T.E.M. SUMMER CAMPS.
