IN FY 2021-2022, HOSPICE OF IREDELL COUNTY SERVED 1,196 HOSPICE PATIENTS AND 975 PALLIATIVE CARE PATIENTS. ONCE DIAGNOSED AND ADMITTED TO HOSPICE CARE, A PATIENT IS SEEN REGULARLY BY HOSPICE-TRAINED NURSES, NURSE AIDS, SOCIAL WORKERS AND VOLUNTEERS. BEREAVEMENT AND CHAPLAIN SERVICES ARE ALSO AVAILABLE TO PATIENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES AND CAREGIVERS.
