255 PEOPLE ATTENDED OUR 2022 ANNUAL MEETING AND SCIENTIFIC SESSION, WHICH TOOK PLACE IN ASHEVILLE IN SEPTEMBER 2022. ALL OF THESE WERE PSYCHIATRIC PHYSICIANS AND OTHER HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS. ONE OF NCPA'S MISSIONS IS TO PROMOTE THE SCIENCE, ART AND PRACTICE OF PSYCHIATRY.
NCPA MAINTAINS AND REVISES ITS WEBSITE AND PUBLISHES COMMUNICATIONS FOR ITS NEARLY 1,000 MEMBERS. THESE COMMUNICATION VEHICLES INCLUDE RESOURCES FOR MEMBERS TO AID IN THEIR PRACTICE AND TO PROVIDE INFORMATION ON POLICY AND HEALTHCARE CHANGES. THE WEBSITE ALSO INCLUDES SECTIONS FOR THE GENERAL PUBLIC WITH RESOURCES AND A SEARCHABLE DATABASE FOR LOCATING PHYSICIANS ACROSS THE STATE.
