JUNIOR ACHIEVEMENT OF EASTERN NC DEVELOPS AND COORDINATES HIGH QUALITY ECONOMIC EDUCATION IN 18 COUNTIES OF NC (CASWELL, CHATHAM, CUMBERLAND, DURHAM, EDGECOMBE, HARNETT, JOHNSTON, LEE, LENOIR, MOORE, NASH, ORANGE, PERSON, PITT, SAMPSON, WAKE, WAYNE, AND WILSON) FACILITATING PROGRAMS THROUGH PARTNERSHIPS IN THE BUSINESS AND EDUCATIONAL COMMUNITIES. JA PROGRAMS AND VOLUNTEER ROLE MODELS PROVIDE STUDENTS WITH CRITICALLY IMPORTANT CURRICULUM CENTERED AROUND THREE PILLARS OF LEARNING: WORKFORCE READINESS (PROVIDING POSITIVE REINFORCEMENT OF CAREER ASPIRATIONS) FINANCIAL LITERACY (AN UNDERSTANDING OF MONEY MANAGEMENT) AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP (THE BENEFITS OF BUSINESS OWNERSHIP). OVER 250 JA VOLUNTEERS LED 15,287 STUDENTS THROUGH JA AGE SPECIFIC PROGRAMS (KINDERGARTEN THROUGH HIGH SCHOOL) DURING THE 2022-2023 ACADEMIC YEAR.
