JA BIZTOWN COMBINES IN-CLASS LEARNING WITH A DAY-LONG VISIT TO A SIMULATED TOWN. THIS PROGRAM ALLOWS ELEMENTARY AND MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS TO OPERATE BANKS, MANAGE BUSINESSES, WRITE CHECKS, AND VOTE FOR MAYOR. THE PROGRAM HELPS STUDENTS CONNECT THE DOTS TO WHAT THEYLEARN IN SCHOOL AND THE REAL WORLD. JA BIZTOWN HAS BEEN SERVING THEMID-SOUTH SINCE 2003 AND HAS BOTH A MOBILE UNIT AND A NEW EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING CENTER OPENING IN SPRING OF 2023 THAT WILL GIVE THE 25COUNTIES WE SERVE MULTIPLE OPTIONS FOR DELIVERY.
