THIS CORPORATION WAS ORGANIZED AS A NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION TO OPERATE A PUBLIC LIBRARY FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE CITIZENS OF HENDERSON AND VANCE COUNTY, NORTH CAROLINA, WITH FUNDS OBTAINED THROUGH CONTRIBUTIONS, GIFTS AND GOVERNMENTAL GRANTS.
