PROVIDES RESIDENTIAL AND FAMILY FOSTER CARE FOR CHILDREN WHO HAVE BEEN REMOVED FROM HOMES DUE TO ABUSE AND NEGLECT AND ARE UNDER THE CARE AND SUPERVISION OF DEPARTMENTS OF SOCIAL SERVICES.

RESIDENTIAL CARE: AMERICAN CHILDRENS HOME HAS PROVIDED TRADITIONAL HOME LIKE CARE FOR ABUSED, NEGLECTED AND ABANDONED CHILDREN FOR NEARLY 100 YEARS. AMERICAN CHILDREN'S HOME SERVED MORE THAN 93 CHILDREN FROM 18 NORTH CAROLINA COUNTIES DURING THE YEAR ENDED SEPTEMBER 30, 2023, RESULTING IN 9,661 TOTAL RESIDENTIAL DAYS OF CARE FOR THE YEAR.
FOSTER FAMILY CARE: OUR FOSTER CARE SERVICES RECRUIT AND TRAIN FOSTER FAMILIES TO CARE FOR YOUTH. THESE LICENSED HOMES PROVIDE A STABLE AND NURTURING ENVIRONMENT TO HELP SUPPORT FAMILIES IN CRISIS AND WORK TOWARD REUNIFICATION. AMERICAN CHILDREN'S HOME PROVIDED FAMILY FOSTER CARE FOR MORE THAN 35 CHILDREN DURING THE YEAR ENDED SEPTEMBER 30, 2023, RESULTING IN 6,415 TOTAL FOSTER FAMILY DAYS OF CARE FOR THE YEAR.
