BETHESDA ACADEMY IS A FULLY ACCREDITED ACADEMIC PROGRAM FOR ALL 99 STUDENTS IN GRADES 6-12. STUDENTS BENEFIT FROM A 1:10 TEACHER TO STUDENT RATIO, A BLENDED CURRICULUM OF DIDACTIC TEACHING INTERACTIONS, WEB-BASED CURRICULUM SUPPORT, AND A VAST EXPOSURE TO THE LIVING LABS OF BETHESDA ACADEMY WHICH INCLUDES A WORKING FARM, WILDLIFE PRESERVE, AND OTHER WORK- STUDY ENVIRONMENTS. THIS BOY-FRIENDLY APPROACH TO LEARNING HAS RESULTED IN 75% OF BETHESDA GRADUATES ATTENDING COLLEGE, WITH THE REMAINING 25% EQUALLY DIVIDED BETWEEN MILITARY AND WORK OPPORTUNITIES AFTER GRADUATION. THE ACADEMIC, WORK-STUDY, AND SPIRITUAL FORMATION PROGRAMS ARE ALSO SUPPORTED THROUGH A STRONG ATHLETIC COMMITMENT TO FOOTBALL, BASKETBALL, TRACK AND FIELD, BOWLING, AND GOLF WITHIN THE SOUTH CAROLINA INDEPENDENT SCHOOL ASSOCIATION. BETHESDA ACADEMY PROVIDES SCHOLARSHIP SUPPORT TO COVER APPROXIMATELY 65% OF ALL TUITION COSTS. BETHESDA ACADEMY PREVIOUSLY OFFERED ON-CAMPUS HOUSING THROUGH A RESIDENTIAL PROGRAM. THE RESIDENTIAL PROGRAM WAS SUSPENDED IN 2020 DUE TO COVID.
