OPERATION OF RESIDENTIAL PROGRAMS FOR MENTALLY & PHYSICALLY HANDICAPPED ADULTS AND THOSE WITH INTELLECTUAL AND DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES. RESIDENCES: TWO INTERMEDIATE-CARE FACILITIES, TWO BOARDING HOUSES, ONE INDEPENDENT LIVING PROGRAM, ONE SUPPORTED LIVING PROGRAM, TWO ADULT DAY-CARE FACILITIES, ONE ADULT DAY SERVICE FACILITY, AND TWO TRAUMATIC BRAIN INJURY HOMES PROVIDE THE CARE AND SUPPORT NEEDED TO ENHANCE THE LIVES OF THESE INDIVIDUALS. STAFF MEMBERS LIVE ON-SITE IN THE TRAUMATIC BRAIN-INJURY HOMES, PROVIDING 24-HOUR SUPERVISION AND TRAINING. THE INDIVIDUALS SERVED IN THE PROGRAM ARE INTEGRATED INTO EXISTING SERVICES IN THE COMMUNITY. THIS MAY INCLUDE A JOB AT LOCAL INDUSTRIES OR A SPECIALIZED PROGRAM TO ADDRESS INDIVIDUAL VOCATIONAL NEEDS. P.C.G.H. ALSO PROVIDES A THERAPEUTIC RIDING PROGRAM, LOCATED ON OUR FARM GROUNDS.
