FRATERNAL ORGANIZATION OF MEMBERS THAT INVEST IN THEIR COMMUNITIES THROUGH PROGRAMS THAT HELP CHILDREN GROW UP HEALTH AND DRUG-FREE, MEET THE NEEDS OF VETERANS, AND IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE.

ELKS CREATE AND PARTICIPATE IN MANY PROGRAMS TO BETTER THEIR COMMUNITIES AND DEMONSTRATE THAT ELKS CARE AND ELKS SHARE. SOME OF THEIR LARGEST PROGRAMS INCLUDE YOUTH ACTIVITIES, VETERANS PROGRAMS, AND SCHOLARSHIPS. THE YOUTH PROGRAMS INCLUDE THE HOOP SHOOT, AMERICANISM ESSAY CONTEST, ANTLERS YOUTH GROUP AND VARIOUS OTHER YOUTH-ORIENTED ACTIVITIES. THE VETERANS PROGRAMS INCLUDE VARIOUS VISITS AND ACTIVITIES TO SUPPORT THE VETERANS WHO HAVE FOUGHT FOR OUR NATION, THE SERVANT CENTER AND THE VETERANS HISTORY PROJECT. THE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM PROVIDES SCHOLARSHIPS TO CERTAIN HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS GOING TO COLLEGE. SOME OF THE ACTIVITIES THAT ELKS SPONSORS COULD NOT BE PERFORMED IN THE CURRENT YEAR DUE TO THE PANDEMIC AND SOCIAL DISTANCING REQUIREMENTS.
