FUNDED OPERATIONAL SUBSIDIES FOR FIVE PRIMARY CARE CENTERS PROVIDING MEDICAL AND DENTAL SERVICES TO UNDERSERVED POPULATION IN WEST VIRGINIA UNDER A COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTERS GRANT FROM THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES. CLINICS ALSO PROVIDED EDUCATIONAL TRAINING TO FAMILY PRACTICE RESIDENTS, PHYSICIAN ASSISTANTS, NURSE PRACTITIONERS AND NURSE MIDWIVES. PROVIDED NUTRITION EDUCATION, SOCIAL SERVICES, BLACK LUNG PROGRAM, ADOLESCENT HEALTH CARE PROGRAM, AND HEALTH CARE FOR THE HOMELESS. PROVIDED FREE BLOOD PRESSURE, VISION AND DENTAL SCREENINGS AND CONDUCTED A FREE HEALTH FAIR. ALSO PROVIDED $130,393 IN CHARITY CARE TO INDIGENT PATIENTS.
