TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE, CAPITAL FINANCING AND OTHER SERVICES ARE PROVIDED TO RURAL HEALTH CARE PROVIDERS TO ASSIST WITH IMPROVING AND MAINTAINING ACCESS, FOSTER ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT, IMPROVING QUALITY AND VIABILITY OF HEALTH CARE SERVICES SO AS TO BETTER MEET THE HEALTH CARE NEEDS IN THE COMMUNITIES SERVED; AND ADDRESS ISSUES IMPACTING THE HEALTH OF WEST VIRGINIA'S RESIDENTS. PROVIDING PROGRAMMATIC SUPPORT TO FOSTER COMPREHENSIVE, SUSTAINABLE STATE AND COMMUNITY POLICIES AND PRACTICES TO ENSURE THAT WEST VIRGINIA'S RESIDENTS ARE PROTECTED FROM THE CONSEQUENCES OF VACCINE-PREVENTABLE DISEASES THROUGHOUT THEIR LIFESPAN AS WELL AS ADVANCE COMMUNITY HEALTH IMPROVEMENT THAT CREATES A CULTURE OF HEALTH IN WEST VIRGINIA'S COMMUNITIES AND FOSTERS ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT IN RURAL COMMUNITIES.
