THE PURPOSE OF THE FUND IS TO SUBSIDIZE THE AMOUNT A CONTRIBUTING EMPLOYER PAYS FOR FRINGE BENEFITS AND WAGES IN ORDER TO AID COMPETITIVENESS IN OBTAINING CONTRACTS WHICH OTHERWISE MAY BE LOST TO NON-UNION CONTRACTORS. TO ACCOMPLISH THIS PURPOSE, THE PINPOINTING I FUND DISTRIBUTES BENEFIT GRANTS TO THE PENSION, HEALTH AND WELFARE, ANNUITY AND APPRENTICESHIP TRAINING FUNDS ON BEHALF OF EMPLOYERS WHO EMPLOY OR DESIRE TO EMPLOY MEMBERS OF THE GLAZIERS, ARCHITECTURAL METAL WORKERS AND GLASS WORKERS UNION LOCAL NO. 252.
