THE ASSOCIATION COORDINATES VARIOUS EDUCATIONAL, RESEARCH, OUTREACH AND SUPPORT PROGRAMS TO ENCOURAGE AND GROW THE IMPACT OF SUSTAINABLE FARMING. EMPLOYING A VAST ARRAY OF STRATEGIES THAT MEASURE THE DIMENSION OF SUSTAINABILITY, THEY CARE ABOUT ABOUT: THE FINANCIAL VIABILITY AND ECOLOGICAL HEALTH OF THE FARMS, AS WELL AS THE NUTRIENT-DENSITY OF WHAT THEY GROW


THE ASSOCIATION HOSTS AN ANNUAL SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURE CONFERENCE WHICH IS ATTENDED BY FARMERS, AGRICULTURAL PROFESSIONALS AND FOOD SYSTEMS SUPPORTERS. THIS EVENT IS ONE OF THE PREMIER SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURE CONFERENCES IN THE COUNTRY. THE EVENT CONTINUES TO ATTRACT A DIVERSE CROSS SECTION OF STAKEHOLDERS WORKING TO GROW A MORE SUSTAINABLE FOOD AND FARMING CULTURE.


THE ASSOCIATION ALSO COORDINATES RELIEF PAYMENTS TO ELIGIBLE FRONTLINE FARMWORKERS AND MEATPACKING WORKERS.
