TO IMPLEMENT PROGRAMS, PROVIDE FOR PROGRAMS AND ASSIST THOSE PHILANTHROPIC, CHARITABLE, SCHOLARSHIP, LITERARY, ARTISTIC AND CULTURAL ACTIVITIES AND ENDEAVORS FROM TIME TO TIME DETERMINED BY THE MEMBERS OR DIRECTORS WITHIN THE SOUTHWEST FLORIDA AREA INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, THE CREATION, IMPLEMENTATION, AND OPERATION OF EDUCATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP OR GRANT PROGRAMS TO ENTITIES ORGANIZED FOR CHARITABLE PURPOSES AND PROVIDING SUCH SERVICES TO THE SOUTHWEST FLORIDA AREA.

THE OAKS WOMEN'S CLUB RAISES FUNDS BY MEANS OF VARIOUS FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES SUCH AS RUMMAGE SALES AND GOLF TOURNAMENTS IN ORDER TO CONTRIBUTE FUNDS TO VARIOUS PHILANTHROPIC AND CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS IN THE SOUTHWEST FLORIDA AREA. THROUGH THESE ACTIVITIES THE ORGANIZATION WAS ABLE TO CONTRIBUTE 5,300 TO VARIOUS LOCAL CHARITIES HELPING THE COMMUNITY.
THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES A MEANS FOR MEMBERS TO DEVELOP AND CULTIVATE THEIR INTEREST IN FLORAL ARRANGEMENTS. THESE ARRANGEMENTS ARE DONATED TO FLORIDA HOSPICE. THIS YEAR DUE TO COVID-19 THE ORGANIZATION DONATED 1,250 TO FLORIDA HOSPICE IN LIEU OF FLORAL ARRANGEMENTS.
THE PURPOSE OF THE OAKS WOMEN'S CLUB SCHOLARSHIP FUND IS TO NURTURE AND SUPPORT WORTHY STUDENTS IN THE PURSUIT OF THEIR CAREER OBJECTIVES. DURING THE FISCAL YEAR ENDED APRIL 30, 2020, THE SCHOLARSHIP FUND PAID OUT A TOTAL OF 89,300 IN SCHOLARSHIPS ON BEHALF OF STUDENT RECIPIENTS.
