CONVENTION: THE ACADEMY CONDUCTS AN ANNUAL CONVENTION AND EXPOSITION CALLED AAA WHICH BRINGS TOGETHER AUDIOLOGISTS FROM AROUND THE WORLD TO LEARN THE LATEST ADVANCES IN AUDIOLOGY, NETWORK WITH THEIR PEERS AND GATHER NEW PRODUCT INFORMATION THAT COULD IMPROVE PATIENT CARE.
CONTINUING EDUCATION: THE ACADEMY PROVIDES CONTINUING EDUCATION OPPORTUNITIES TO MEMBERS AND OTHER AUDIOLOGISTS TO KEEP THEM INFORMED OF THE LATEST RESEARCH AND TRENDS WITHIN THE PROFESSION AND TO MAINTAIN THEIR STATE LICENSURES. THESE PROGRAMS INCLUDE PRE-CONVENTION CLASSES, CLASSES DURING AAA AND ONLINE EDUCATIONAL COURSES. THE ACADEMY ALSO MAINTAINS A DATABASE OF OTHER ACCEPTABLE CONTINUING EDUCATION PROVIDERS AND OFFERS CPE CREDITS TO AUDIOLOGISTS THROUGH THESE PROVIDERS. IN ADDITION, THE ACADEMY PROVIDES THE JOURNAL OF THE AMERICAN ACADEMY OF AUDIOLOGY TO ALL MEMBERS TO ADVANCE MEMBERS' KNOWLEDGE OF CURRENT SCIENCE AND RESEARCH.
