IN 2014, THE NATIONAL HUMANE EDUCATION SOCIETY (NHES) UNDERWENT AN ORGANIZATIONAL RESTRUCTURING THAT RESULTED IN THE SALE OF THE NHES PROPERTY ON WHICH PPAS HAD BEEN OPERATING AND ALL PPAS OPERATIONS WERE CONSOLIDATED INTO NHES FACILITY, THE BRIGGS ANIMAL ADOPTION CENTER, LOCATED ON THE NHES CAMPUS IN CHARLES TOWN, WEST VIRGINIA. THIS CONSOLIDATION WAS UNDERTAKEN TO MINIMIZE NHES OPERATING COSTS.PPAS CONTINUES TO EXIST AND COORDINATE WITH NHES TO OPERATE THE CATTERY AT THE BRIGGS ANIMAL ADOPTION CENTER IN CHARLES TOWN, WEST VIRGINIA.
