EDUCATION PROGRAMS: THE FRIENDS OF GREEN SPRING SUPPORTS BOTH ADULT AAND CHILDREN'S EDUCAION THROUGH FUNDING A VARIETYOF PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITIES. THESE INCLUDE A WINTER LECTURE SERIES ON TO[ICAL HORTICULTURE SUBJECTS OFFERED TO THE PUBLIC; ADULT HANDS-ON GARDENING PROGRAMS IE. PROPER TREE TRIMMING TECHNIQUES; SALARY SUPPORT FOR AN ADULT PROGRAM ASSISTANT; CHILDREN'S PROGRAMMING EXPENSES; SUPPORT FOR VISITATION TO THE PARK BY STUDENTS FROM TITLE-I ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS; SUMMER INTERNSHIPS FOR COLLEGE LEVEL HORTICULTURE STUDENT; AND LIBRARY EXPENSES.
