THE MISSION OF ELIJAH HOUSE ACADEMY IS TO PROVIDE A CHRIST-CENTERED AND ACCESSIBLE CHOICE IN EDUCATION THAT CULTIVATES THE HEARTS, MINDS, AND BODIES OF OUR CITY'S CHILDREN FOR GOD'S GLORY AND RICHMOND'S FLOURISHING. THE MAJORITY OF OUR STUDENTS, TRANSITIONAL KINDERGARTEN THROUGH EIGHTH GRADE, ARE EITHER ECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGED OR EDUCATIONALLY DISENFRANCHISED, AND EHA OFFERS ALL OF OUR LEARNERS A SAFE PLACE TO GROW IN CONFIDENCE AND PURPOSE. BECAUSE ELIJAH HOUSE ACADEMY PROVIDES TUITION ON A SLIDING SCALE, IT IS AN EXCELLENT AND ACCESSIBLE CHOICE FOR ALL RICHMOND FAMILIES. EVERY STUDENT IS EQUIPPED WITH THE ACADEMIC AND SOCIAL-EMOTIONAL SKILLS REQUIRED TO SUCCEED IN THE CLASSROOM, HOME, AND SOCIETY. EHA IS FULLY ACCREDITED BY THE ASSOCIATION OF CHRISTIAN SCHOOLS INTERNATIONAL (ACSI) AND THE SOUTHERN ASSOCIATION OF COLLEGES AND SCHOOLS (SACS). DURING THE SCHOOL YEAR 2021-2022, EHA PROVIDED 144 RICHMOND CHILDREN A SAFE,ACADEMICALLY CHALLENGING,QUALITY EDUCATION THAT IS VALUE BASED. ONLY ABOUT 10% OF OUR INCOME COMES FROM TUITION PAYMENTS. FOR THE BALANCE OF OUR FUNDING NEEDS, EHA HOUSE RELIES ON DONATIONS FROM THOSE WHO SUPPORT OUR MISSION INCLUDING INDIVIDUAL DONORS,CHURCH & CORPORATE SPONSORS, AND CHARITBLE FOUNDATIONS.
