VA STAR PROGRAM - TEACHES STUDENTS TO REFURBISH SURPLUS COMPUTER HARDWARE DONATED BY GOVERNMENT AGENCIES AND PRIVATE COMPANIES. THE REFURBISHED COMPUTERS ARE DONATED TO FAMILIES, ORGANIZATIONS AND SCHOOL DISTRICTS IN NEED. THROUGH PARTICIPATION IN THE PROGRAM, STUDENTS WORK TOWARDS EARNING INDUSTRY STANDARD CERTIFICATIONS WHICH PAVES THE WAY FOR BOTH HIGHER EDUCATION AND WELL-PAYING JOBS.
PROGRAM FUNDING - DESIGNATED FUNDS TO ENHANCE AND IMPROVE EDUCATIONAL SERVICES AND FACILITIES FOR PRINCE WILLIAM, VA PUBLIC SCHOOL STUDENTS AS WELL AS THE COMMUNITY AT LARGE.
SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM - TO ASSIST PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY VA HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS WHO PLAN TO ATTEND COLLEGE.
