PUBLIC POLICY: THE ALLIANCE FOR AGING RESEARCH WORKS WITH PATIENTS, FEDERAL AGENCIES, ELECTED OFFICIALS, AND PARTNER ORGANIZATIONS TO ADVANCE POLICIES THAT SUPPORT RESEARCH AND HEALTHY AGING. OVER THE PAST 35+ YEARS, THE ALLIANCE HAS LED EFFORTS TO INCREASE INVESTMENT IN FOUNDATIONAL RESEARCH, INTRODUCE PATIENT PROTECTIONS, AND HELP ADDRESS THE AFFORDABILITY OF HEALTHCARE. WE ADVOCATE FOR PROGRESS ACROSS A WIDE RANGE OF ISSUES THAT IMPACT HEALTH, ACCESS, AND THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE NEXT GENERATION OF MEDICAL ADVANCES.
