4A. RENTAL PROGRAMS. CFH BEGAN OWNING AND MANAGING RENTAL PROPERTIES IN 2008; CFH OWNS 7 AFFORDABLE DWELLING UNITS (ADU) IN ARLINGTON AND 2 IN FAIRFAX. IN ADDITION, CFH OWN 5 WORKFORCE RENTAL UNITS IN FREDERICKSBURG. ALL CFH TENANTS FALL WITHIN THE LOW TO MODERATING INCOME CATEGORY. CFH ALSO CO-OWNS ITS ORIGINAL APARTMENT COMPLEX DEVELOPMENT, A 30-UNIT APARTMENT COMPLEX IN FAIRFAX. NATIONAL HOUSING TRUST IS THE MANAGING PARTNER. IN JANUARY 2018, CFH PURCHASED A MOBILE HOME PARK, WHICH IS PROVIDING HOMES TO 56 HOUSEHOLDS. THE CFH RENTAL PROGRAM PROVIDES RENTAL HOUSING OPPORTUNITIES TO APPROXIMATELY 400 INDIVIDUALS A YEAR.
4B. ARS PROGRAM - THE COLLABORATIVE PROGRAM OF THE VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT ( DHCD) AND THE VIRGINIA HOUSING DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY (VHDA) FEATURES A $1.5 MILLION FUND DESIGNED TO HELP FIRST-TIME BUYERS BECOME OWNERS. ARS GRANTEES WILL ACQUIRE HOMES WITH LEVERAGED FUNDING, RENOVATE THE HOMES WITH ARS FUNDING AND THEM RESELL THE HOMES AT FAIR MARKET VALUE. ALL ACTIVITIES FUNDED THROUGH ARS WILL BENEFIT INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES WITH INCOME BELOW 80 PERCENT OF THE MEDIIAN INCOME (AMI).
4C. LINTON HALL PROGRAM - THE ORGANIZATION DEVELOPED AND SOLD 19 LOTS IN THIS PROGRAM. AS THE ORIGINAL BUYERS WHO UTILIZED FEDERAL HOME FUNDS FOR THE DOWNPAYMENT WHEN THEY ACQUIRED THEIR HOMES SOLD THEIR HOMES, THE ORGANIZATION RECEIVED $95,064 AS PAYMENT FOR THE EQUITY SHARING FROM THE SALE DURING THE YEAR ENDED JUNE 30, 2022.
