THE PRESCHOOL PROVIDES AN ENVIRONMENT WHERE CHILDREN MAY BE AIDED IN EARLY-LIFE ADJUSTMENTS BY BROADENING THEIR EXPERIENCE BEYOND THAT OF HOME, BY PROMOTING A DEMOCRATIC EXPERIENCE IN GROUP LIVING, BY ADDING TO THEIR SOCIAL GROWTH WHEREVER POSSIBLE.
