TO CREATE A COMMON VOICE FOR SULPHUR PRODUCERS, CONSUMERS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS TO PROMOTE THE ONGOING AND UNINTERRUPTED EFFICIENT AND SAFE HANDLING AND TRANSPORT OF ALL SULPHUR PRODUCTS WHILE PROTECTING THE BEST INTERESTS OF THE ENVIRONMENT.

MEMBERSHIP - AS DETERMINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS, THE INSTITUTE SHALL HAVE SEVERAL CLASSES OF MEMBERSHIP WHO ARE ENTITLED TO THE BENEFITS OF MEMBERSHIP AS DESCRIBED IN THE INSTITUTE'S BYLAWS. THE MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR MEMBERSHIP RECRUITMENT AND RETENTION.
SULPHUR INFORMATION AND ADVOCACY - TO MAINTAIN AND PROVIDE INFORMATION THAT CAN SERVE AND EDUCATE STAKEHOLDERS AND OTHERS ON KEY TARGETED AREAS OF SULPHUR ADVOCACY AND RESPOND TO POTENTIALLY DETRIMENTAL MISINFORMATION REGARDING SULPHUR, ITS ORIGIN, TRANSPORTATION, HANDLING, LONG-TERM STORAGE AND USES.
