ANNUAL CONVENTION - ENABLES MEMBERS TO SEE LATEST INNOVATIONS IN THE REFRIGERATION INDUSTRY. THE IARW-WFLO CONVENTION WAS HELD FACE TO FACE IN 2021. THE EVENT TOOK PLACE IN AUSTIN, TEXAS FROM OCTOBER 6-8 AND ATTRACTED OVER 300 ATTENDEES AS WELL AS 30 PLUS EXHIBITORS. THE THREE DAY NETWORKING AND EDUCATION EVENT WAS ATTENDED BY SENIOR LEVEL EXECUTIVES FROM THE TEMPERATURE CONTROLLED LOGISTICS INDUSTRY. IARW WAS ALSO ABLE TO HOST ITS ANNUAL POLICY FORUM FACE TO FACE IN WASHINGTON, DC FROM JULY 29-31 WHICH SAW ATTENDANCE OF OVER 100 COLD CHAIN PROFESSIONALS WHOSE RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE UNDERSTANDING THE IMPACT OF VARIOUS GOVERNMENT AND AGENCY INITIATIVES ON THEIR BUSINESSES. IN ADDITION THE FOLLOWING EVENTS WERE ALSO HELD FACE IN 2021 THE LATIN AMERICAN COLD CHAIN CONGRESS (MEXICO CITY/NOVEMBER/100 ATTENDEES) AND THE BRAZIL SYMPOSIUM (SAO PAOLO/DECEMBER/100 ATTENDEES). THE EUROPEAN COLD CHAIN CONFERENCE HAD TO BE CONDUCTED VIRTUALLY AGAIN IN 2021 AND THAT TOOK PLACE IN JULY. LASTLY, THE IARW BOARD WAS ALSO ABLE TO MEET FACE TO FACE IN APRIL OF 2021.
