THE FREDDIE MARSHALL EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION HAS A MISSION TO ESTABLISH AND SUPPORT A HOST OF URBAN COMMUNITY-BASED PROGRAMS THAT WILL ENABLE YOUTH AND ADULTS TO OBTAIN INSTRUCTION IN MUSIC DANCE DESIGN ARTS AND DIGITAL MEDIA. ALONG WITH WORKSHOPS & SEMINARS.

DESCRIPTION OF PARTICIPANTS: 5 WEEKS SUMMER CAMP DATE AND TIME FROM: JUNE 6 2022 TO JULY 8 2022. TIME OF CAMP WILL BE 9:00AM TO 1:00PM MON - FRI. THE FREDDIE MARSHALL EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION SUMMER PROGRAM ARTIST DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM WILL BE GEARED TO THE STYLE OF AMERICAN IDOL. WE ARE READY TO PREPARE OUR YOUTH FOR THE ENTERTAINMENT WORLD. EACH MEMBER WILL AUDITION FOR A PLACEMENT TO COMPETE WITHIN THE 5 WEEKS. THE TALENT SKILLS THAT ARE REQUIRED TO AUDITION ARE: CHOREOGRAPHY GROUPS VOCAL SKILLS HIP-HOP JAZZ ROCK AND R&B. EACH WEEK A SOLO ARTIST MUSIC GROUP OR CHOREOGRAPHY GROUP WILL SELECT A NEW ORLEANS ARTIST SONG THAT IS LISTED ON OUR LIST. EACH WEEK WE WILL BREAK DOWN THE ELIMINATION TO A FINAL CONTESTANT. ALONG WITH LIFE SKILLS PSYCHOSOCIAL EDUCATION MENTORING CAREER DEVELOPMENT AND BEHAVIORAL HEALTH WILL BE AVAILABLE TO YOUTH. ALL YOUTH AND FAMILIES WILL HAVE ACCESS TO INDIVIDUAL REFERRALS AS NEEDED.
