KENNEDY INSTITUTE HOUSING CORPORATION WAS ORGANIZED IN DECEMBER 1994 UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONSTRUCTING AND OPERATING HOUSING AND RELATED FACILITIES FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES. THE ENTITY WAS FINANCED THROUGH THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT ("HUD") UNDER SECTION 811 OF THE NATIONAL AFFORDABLE HOUSING ACT AND CONSISTS OF 15 UNITS. SUCH ENTITIES ARE REGULATED BY HUD AS TO RENT CHARGES AND OPERATING METHODS.
