WINNING CAMPAIGNS THAT BUILD POWER FOR WORKING PEOPLE IN A VARIETY OF SECTORS: OUR CORE STRATEGIES FOR ADVANCING OUR VISION AND MISSION FOR WORKING PEOPLE AND FAMILIES ARE THREE-FOLD: LEAD AND INCUBATE CAMPAIGNS THAT COMBINE INNOVATIVE COMMUNICATIONS STRATEGIES, SOLID RESEARCH, AND GRASSROOTS BASE-BUILDING AND MOBILIZATION; SHAPE PUBLIC DISCOURSE ABOUT WORKERS' RIGHTS AND THE ECONOMY TO ADVANCE COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AS A SOLUTION TO INEQUALITY; AND BUILD AND SUPPORT A NETWORK OF COALITIONS THAT PROVIDE A PERMANENT INFRASTRUCTURE FOR WORKING PEOPLE TO BUILD POWER, WAGE STRATEGIC CAMPAIGNS, MOBILIZE, ORGANIZE AND NEGOTIATE.

OUR COALITIONS ARE COMPRISED OF LOCAL, STATE, AND REGIONALLY FOCUSED AFFILIATES WORKING ON AN ARRAY OF INTERSECTING ISSUES FROM PUBLIC EDUCATION, TRANSIT TO CLIMATE CHANGE, RACIAL AND GENDER JUSTICE, JOBS AND THE ECONOMY.
