HEALTHY HOUSING REMEDIATION PROGRAM: IN 2021, YACHAD PROVIDED HOME REMEDIATION SERVICES TO 100 HOUSEHOLDS, INCLUDING RENTER AND SINGLE-FAMILY HOUSEHOLDS. THE PANDEMIC LIMITED OUR SERVICES TO EXTERIOR WORK AND LIMITED INTERIOR WORK ADDRESSING PLUMBING AND ELECTRICAL. WE PROVIDED HARM REDUCTION EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS TO HOUSEHOLDS IN ADDITION TO ASTHMA TRIGGER REMEDIATION MEASURES FOR PEST MANAGEMENT AND MOLD REMOVAL.
HEALTHY HOUSING VIRTUAL TELE-HEALTH PROGRAM: IN 2021 YACHAD CONTINUED ITS PARTNERSHIP WITH CHILDREN'S NATIONAL TO OFFER MEDICAL AND HOUSING TELE-HEALTH VISITS RELATED TO ASTHMA AND OTHER RESPIRATORY CONDITIONS IMPACTING FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN. ADVOCACY AND COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT ACTIVITIES: YACHAD CONTINUES ITS LEADERSHIP ROLE IN THE DC HEALTHY HOUSING COLLABORATIVE, A COALITION OF OVER 40 HEALTH AND HOUSING ORGANIZATIONS IN THE DISTRICT. YACHAD STAFF ARE MEMBERS OF THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE AND SERVE AS CHAIRS OF BOTH THE COMPREHENSIVE SERVICES DELIVERY COMMITTEE AND COMMUNICATIONS AND OUTREACH COMMITTEE.
