CERTIFIED MEETING PROFESSIONAL ("CMP")- THE CMP PROGRAM IS DESIGNATED FOR INDIVIDUALS IN THE MEETING MANAGEMENT INDUSTRY TO ACHIEVE THE CMP CERTIFICATION. THE REQUIREMENTS FOR CMP CERTIFICATION ARE BASED ON PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE AND AN ACADEMIC EXAMINATION.
EDUCATION AND RESEARCH - LEADING MEETINGS INDUSTRY MEMBERSHIP ASSOCIATIONS HAVE COME TOGETHER TO FUND AND PUBLICIZE A STUDY TO QUANTIFY THE MEETINGS INDUSTRY'S SIGNIFICANCE TO THE U.S. ECONOMY. THIS RESEARCH IS PART OF EIC'S MISSION TO PROVE THE PROFOUND VALUE OF THE COLLECTIVE INDUSTRY TO REGULATORS AND LEGISLATORS WHO ARE MAKING DECISIONS AND TAKING ACTIONS THAT NEGATIVELY IMPACT THE NATION WITHOUT A FULL UNDERSTANDING OF WHAT IS AT STAKE.
