NASPA IS ENGAGED WITH MULTIPLE FUNDERS ACROSS MULTIPLE PROJECTS. THE FUNDERS ARE AS FOLLOWS, THE BILL AND MELINDA GATES FOUNDATION, THE STATE OF COLORADO, MONTANA DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES, THE LUMINA FOUNDATION, ROCKEFELLER PHILANTHROPY ADVISORS, THE KETTERING FOUNDATION, AND THE FAIR ELECTION CENTER. ONE OF OUR GATES GRANTS PROVIDES SUB AWARDS TO UNIVERSITIES AND ORGANIZATIONS. THOSE UNIVERSITIES AND ORGANIZATIONS ARE AS FOLLOWS, ACHIEVING THE DREAM, INC., EDUCAUSE, UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH CAROLINA NATIONAL RESEARCH CENTER, AMERICAN ASSOCIATION OF STATE COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES, AND THE NATIONAL ACADEMIC ADVISING ASSOCIATION. ALL OF THESE GRANTS SUPPORT GRANT FUNDED STAFF AS WELL AS ON CAMPUS INITIATIVES.

WORKSHOPS AND INSTITUTES - THE CORE OF NASPA'S MISSION IS TO PROVIDE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT FOR STUDENT AFFAIRS EDUCATORS AND ADMINISTRATORS WHO SHARE THE RESPONSIBILITY FOR A CAMPUS WIDE FOCUS ON THE STUDENT EXPERIENCE. PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS AT NASPA ACHIEVE THIS THROUGH A VARIETY OF CONFERENCES, WORKSHOPS, AND ONLINE LEARNING, PROVIDING PARTICIPANTS WITH ACCESS TO THE LEADING EXPERTS IN HIGHER EDUCATION, STUDENT AFFAIRS, AND OTHER RELEVANT FIELDS.
