MUSEUM OPERATION, PUBLICATIONS AND COLLECTIONS THE ORGANIZATION MAINTAINS AND OPERATES THE CAPTAIN AVERY MUSEUM AND A LOCAL HISTORY RESEARCH LIBRARY. THE LIBRARY HOUSES REGIONAL PUBLICATIONS, ORAL AND VIDEO MATERIAL, AND PUBLICATIONS BY THE ORGANIZATION. THE ORGANIZATION HAS PUBLISHED SEVERAL BOOKS AND PUBLISHES A REGULAR NEWSLETTER. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO RENTS OUT PARTS OF THE FACILITY TO HELP FUND ITS OPERATIONS, AND MAINTAINS A SMALL MUSEUM SHOP.
