HISTORY & HISTORICAL PROGRAMS, GENERAL/OTHER OPERATION OF A PREEMINENT UNITED STATES ARCHIVE AND RESEARCH LIBRARY WITH COLLECTIONS FROM 1682 TO THE PRESENT, PRESENTING EXHIBITS, EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS AND PUBLICATIONS ON THE HISTORY AND CHANGING DIVERSITY OF OUR NATION.
THE HISTORICAL SOCIETY OF PENNSYLVANIA SERVES AUDIENCES THROUGH A VARIETY OF EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMING AND RESEARCH SERVICES, ALL STEMMING FROM ITS NATIONALLY SIGNIFICANT ARCHIVAL COLLECTION. PROGRAMS INCLUDE K-12 CURRICULAR MATERIAL/FIELD TRIPS, GENEALOGY WORKSHOPS, PANEL DISCUSSIONS, AND OTHER SCHOLARLY PROGRAMS.
