PROGRAM SERVICES: ASDC PROVIDED SERVICES THAT PROMOTE AND ESTABLISH PARENT-HELPING-PARENT NETWORKS AND AWARENESS AMONG FAMILIES WITH DEAF CHILDREN. WE PROVIDE RESOURCES AND INFORMATION TO FAMILIES, DEVELOP DIRECTORIES OF SERVICES, AND PROVIDE AMERICAN SIGN LANGUAGE WORKSHOPS AND CONFERENCES, AND MENTORING SERVICES.


CONFERENCES AND SIGN ON PROGRAM: THE ASDC CONFERENCE FOR THE PARENTS OF DEAF AND HARD OF HEARING IS HELD ANNUALLY. PRESENTATIONS, TOPICS, WORKSHOPS AND GROUP DISCUSSIONS ARE OFFERED. SIGNON CONNECTS THE HEARING AND DEAF COMMUNITIES THROUGH AUTHENTIC VIRTUAL LEARNING INTERACTIONS. THROUGH THE DEAF AMBASSADOR PROGRAM FOR ADULTS, PARENTS CAN IMPROVE THEIR ASL SKILLS, CONNECT WITH MEMBERS OF THE DEAF COMMUNITY, AND INCREASE THEIR AWARENESS OF DEAF CULTURE.
