THE MARYLAND NETWORK AGAINST DOMESTIC VIOLENCE IS THE STATE DOMESTIC VIOLENCE COALITION THAT BRINGS TOGETHER VICTIM SERVICE PROVIDERS, ALLIED PROFESSIONALS, AND CONCERNED INDIVIDUALS TO REDUCE INTIMATE PARTNER VIOLENCE AND ITS HARMFUL EFFECTS ON OUR CITIZENS. MNADV PROVIDES EDUCATION, TRAINING, RESOURCES, AND ADVOCACY TO ADVANCE VICTIM SAFETY AND ABUSER ACCOUNTABILITY.

COORDINATED AND COLLABORATED WITH PUBLIC AND PRIVATE AGENCIES AND ORGANIZATIONS. PROVIDED A 24/7 LANGUAGE LINE FOR INTERPRETATION TO ALLOW PROFESSIONALS TO COMMUNICATE WITH THEIR CLIENTS. MAINTAINED A WEBSITE AND A FACEBOOK PAGE. PUBLISHED PERIODIC E- NEWSLETTERS. LAW ENFORCEMENT TRAINING: COORDINATED THE HOMICIDE PREVENTION DEMONSTRATION INITIATIVE TO IMPLEMENT THE LETHALITY ASSESSMENT PROGRAM (LAP)-THE MARYLAND MODEL IN SELECTED SITES.
