THE DELAWARE COALITION AGAINST DOMESTIC VIOLENCE (DCADV), IS DELAWARE'S FEDERALLY RECOGNIZED STATE DOMESTIC VIOLENCE COALITION. DCADV PROVIDES TRAINING FOR ADVOCATES, ATTORNEYS, FAMILY COURT, LAW ENFORCEMENT, THERAPISTS, AND HEALTH CARE PROVIDERS ON TRAUMA-INFORMED BEST-PRACTICES. DCADV ENGAGES IN COMMUNITY EDUCATION TO RAISE AWARENESS FOR DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND TO SHARE INFORMATION ABOUT AVAILABLE STATE RESOURCES FOR VICTIMS / SURVIVORS. DCADV COORDINATES WITH COMMUNITY PARTNERS IN ADVOCACY AND POLICY EFFORTS TO PROTECT THE RIGHTS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE VICTIMS / SURVIVORS. DCADV PARTNERS WITH STATE AND COMMUNITY PARTNERS ON PRIMARY PREVENTION EFFORTS.
