ACQUISITION, MAINTENANCE AND PRESERVATION OF HISTORIC PROPERTIES, 5 SITES MAINTAINED AND OPEN TO PUBLIC - HISTORIC STEVENSVILLE POST OFFICE, HISTORIC STEVENSVILLE TRAIN STATION AND CABOOSE, AND KIRWAN HOUSE, CRAY HOUSE, HISTORIC STEVENSVILLE BANK (IN PARTNERSHIP) AND HISTORIC CHRIST CHURCH (IN PARTNERSHIP. PURCHASED HISTORIC PROPERTY IN HISTORIC DOWNTOWN STEVENSVILLE AS FUTURE SITE FOR KENT ISLAND HERITAGE CENTER AND MUSEUM. MADE SIGNIFICANT RENOVATIONS TO THE STEVENSVILLE TRAIN STATION.

HOSTED A MULTI-DAY VISIT TO KENT ISLAND BY THE CLAIBORNE SOCIETY OF VIRGINIA, DIRECT DESCENTANTS OF CAPT WILLIAM CLAIBORNE, FOUNDER OF KENT ISLAND IN 1631. HOSTED A GEOCACHING SITE EVENT AT THE KIRWAN HOUSE THAT DREW HUNDREDS OF VISITORS.
