TALBOT HOSPICE FOUNDATION, INC., FOUNDED IN 1981 AS A 501(C)(3) NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION, PROVIDES VARIOUS SERVICES AND SUPPORT TO TERMINALLY ILL PATIENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES IN TALBOT COUNTY, MARYLAND. WITH A CLINICAL TEAM AND TRAINED VOLUNTEERS, TALBOT HOSPICE SERVES PATIENTS IN THEIR HOMES, IN NURSING FACILITIES, AND IN THE ELEANOR A. KOONS HOSPICE HOUSE IN EASTON, MARYLAND. IN ADDITION, IT OFFERS BEREAVEMENT COUNSELING FOR ANYONE IN THE COMMUNITY WHO HAS SUFFERED A LOSS, A VOLUNTEER PROGRAM FOR MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY WHO WISH TO SUPPORT THE HOSPICE MISSION, AND BOTH MEDICAL AND NON-MEDICAL SUPPORT FOR PEOPLE WITH LIFE-LIMITING ILLNESSES.
