VISITING NURSE ASSOCIATION: THE FOLLOWING LIST INCLUDES THE MAJOR PROGRAMS OF THE VNA IDENTIFIED BY THEIR DISCIPLINE OF SERVICE: SKILLED NURSING, HOME HEALTH AIDES, PHYSICAL THERAPY, OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY, SPEECH THERAPY, DIETARY CONSULTING, AND SOCIAL WORK SERVICES. THESE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ACCORDING TO A PHYSICIAN'S TREATMENT PLAN TO THOSE 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER WHO NEED SKILLED CARE IN THEIR HOME TO RECOVER FROM A MEDICAL TREATMENT AND PROMOTE PATIENT SELF-SUFFICIENCY. IT TAKES MORE THAN CLINICAL EXPERTISE TO IMPROVE A PATIENT'S CONDITION, THE HUMAN TOUCH IS AN ESSENTIAL PART OF PATIENT CARE. HOME CARE PATIENTS SERVED TOTALED 1,004 WITH 12,755 VISITS BY SKILLED CLINICIANS IN FISCAL YEAR 2021.
