CCBA CONDUCTS A VARIETY OF PROGRAMS THAT EDUCATE CHINESE IMMIGRANTS ABOUT US CITIZENSHIP, PROMOTE AND PRESERVE CHINESE HERITAGE AND CULTURAL TRADITIONS, AND MEET THE CHARITABLE NEEDS OF LOCAL CHINESE FAMILIES.

THE ASSOCIATION SPONSORS THE CHINESE NEW YEAR PARADE THE PURPOSE WAS TO EDUCATE ABOUT THE CHINESE LANGUAGE, MORALS, PRINCIPLES, AND CULTURE. OVER 5,000 PEOPLE ATTENDED. SUPPORTED DRAGON BOAT FESTIVAL, AND THE CHINESE YOUTH CLUB. ALSO, THE ASSOCIATION MAINTAINED A NUMBER OF FREE SOCIAL SERVICES TO THE PUBLIC, INCLUDING LIBRARIES, MEDICAL CLINICS, CHINESE AND ENGLISH TRAINING FOR YOUTH AND NEW IMMIGRANTS.


TO COORDINATE THE COMMUNITY/NATIONAL DAY. THE PURPOSE WAS TO EDUCATE AND AWARD YOUNG PEOPLE OF ONE OF THE OLDEST CULTURES AND ITS CHANGES IN THE SOCIETY. AROUND 2,000 AUDIENCES ENJOYED THE PERFORMANCES AND THE PARADE. THE BUILDING INCOME WAS TO SUPPORT THE VOLLEYBALL TEAM AS AN EDUCATIONAL FUNCTION. THOUSANDS BENEFITED FROM LEARNING THAT THE COMMUNITY IS A FAMILY BENEFITED FROM IT.


MANAGE CHARITABLE CEMETERY FOR THE CHINESE AMERICAN COMMUNITY INCLUDING:(1)PROVISION OF INTERMENT RIGHT, (2) CONDUCTING ANCESTOR-WORSHIP CEREMONIES, AND COMMUNITY FESTIVALS TO HONOR DECEASED, (3) WORKING WITH FAMILIES TO ADVISE ON CHINESE BURIAL TRADITIONS, AND TRANSLATING AND PREPARING GRAVE MONUMENTS AND MARKERS, AND COORDINATE AND PERFORM CHINESE BURIAL CUSTOMS.
