THE ASSOCIATION IS THE MAJOR SOURCE FOR INFORMATION ON THE COMPOSITES INDUSTRY. IT PUBLISHES A MAGAZINE, MULTIPLE NEWSLETTERS, AND ONLINE INFORMATION TO INFORM ITS MEMBERS, THE REST OF THE INDUSTRY, AND THOSE SPECIFYING OR BUYING COMPOSITE MATERIALS ON THE LATEST INNOVATIONS IN COMPOSITES.
THE ASSOCIATION HOSTS CONFERENCES AND WEBINARS TO PROVIDE SEGMENTS OF THE INDUSTRY DEEPER INSIGHTS INTO NEW MARKETS OR MANUFACTURING PROCESSES TO HELP PARTICIPANTS IMPROVE THEIR PRODUCTS AND BE MORE SUCCESSFUL IN TAKING THEM TO THE MARKET. ACMA HOLDS AN ANNUAL EXHIBITION, COMPOSITE AND ADVANCE MATERIALS EXPO (CAMX) WITH ANOTHER NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION, SOCIETY FOR THE ADVANCEMENT OF MATERIAL AND PROCESS ENGINEERING (INTERNATIONAL) (SAMPE).
THE ASSOCIATION'S COMPOSITE GROWTH INITIATIVE (CGI) EXISTS TO PROMOTE AND EXPAND THE USE AND UNDERSTANDING OF COMPOSITE MATERIALS. THE ASSOCIATION IS A SUPPORTING MEMBER OF THE DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY'S INSTITUTE FOR ADVANCE COMPOSITES MANUFACTURING INNOVATION (IACMI), A PUBLIC-PRIVATE PARTNERSHIP CONNECTING LEADING MANUFACTURES ACROSS THE SUPPLY CHAIN WITH UNIVERSITIES AND NATIONAL LABORATORIES PIONEERING ADVANCED COMPOSITES TECHNOLOGY DEVELOPMENT AND RESEARCH.
