PUBLISHES "GLADE STAR" 4 TIMES PER YEAR WHICH IS MAILED FREE OF CHARGE TO APPROXIMATELY 564 MEMBERS
MAINTAINS AND OPERATES THE GARRETT COUNTY HISTORICAL MUSEUM. IN 2021 OVER 5,497 PEOPLE TOURED THE MUSEUM INCLUDING VARIOUS SCHOOL GROUPS - WHICH WAS MUCH LOWER THAN NORMAL DUE TO THE PANDEMIC.
SPECIAL TOURS WERE HELD IN PRIOR YEARS FOR TEACHERS FROM MARYLAND COUNTIES AND FOREST RANGERS FROM ALL OVER THE STATE OF MARYLAND - THESE WERE UNABLE TO BE HELD IN 2021 DUE TO THE PANDEMIC
