FUNDED PROGRAM AREAS AT NEMWI INCLUDE: THE GREAT LAKES WASHINGTON PROGRAM; THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER BASIN PROGRAM; THE WATER POLICY AND WATER CONSERVATION INITIATIVE; AND THE CONGRESSIONAL POLICY PRIMER AND ORIENTATION PROGRAMS. OTHER PROGRAM AREAS NOT CURRENTLY FUNDED BUT WHICH HAVE SENIOR FELLOW AND RESEARCH INTERN SUPPORT INCLUDE: THE REGIONAL ECONOMIC RECOVERY AND WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVE; THE WATER AFFORDABILITY INITIATIVE; THE CLIMATE CHANGE IMPACTS INITIATIVE; AND THE FISCAL POLICY AND STATE AND LOCAL PUBLIC FINANCE INITIATIVE.
