SISTERS INSPIRE - A PROGRAM THAT EXPANDS THE MINISTRIES AND CHARISM OF SISTERS' CONGREGATIONS THROUGH COMPREHENSIVE STAFF AND VOLUNTEER TRAINING FOR A COHORT OF THREE SISTERS-SPONSORED SERVICE PROGRAMS. PROGRAMS RECEIVED TRAINING AND SUPPORT FROM CVN TO DEVELOP MODELS OF FAITH-BASED SERVICE THAT BETTER SUPPORT VOLUNTEERS FROM DIVERSE BACKGROUNDS AND PROMOTE COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP. CVN PROVIDED SUBGRANTS TO THREE PARTICIPATING PROGRAMS.
RECRUITMENT - CVN RECRUITS VOLUNTEERS FOR DOMESTIC AND INTERNATIONAL SERVICE WITHIN ITS MEMBER PROGRAMS. IT DOES THIS THROUGH ITS ANNUAL DIRECTORY OF SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES, ITS WEBSITE, AND BY TRAVELING TO MORE THAN 100 COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES FOR VOLUNTEER FAIRS. SUCH RECRUITMENT BENEFITS THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE IN NEED WHO ARE SERVED BY THESE VOLUNTEERS. IN ADDITION, CVN RECRUITS VOLUNTEER PROGRAMS FOR MEMBERSHIP IN THE ORGANIZATION.
